In this article we will explain why we have built Gemstones NFT. Why it’s so amazing and unique by combining an NFT Treasure Hunt, with incentives and stunning AI art.
We will explain our roadmap, and why we think that this project will continue to have value over time.
We wanted to take a different approach and not make another PFP project which doesn’t add any value to the Solana community.
Gemstones represent the beginning of a new era of collecting, trading and holding with purpose in the NFT world.
Why Solana?
Solana is not only the fastest blockchain currently operating, with much lower gas fees, but the fact that it’s better for the environment made it the obvious choice for our team.
What is a Gemstone?
“A gemstone (also called a gem, fine gem, jewel, precious stone, or semi-precious stone) is a piece of mineral crystal which, in cut and polished form, is used to make jewelry or other adornments.”
Individuals who choose to collect Gemstones NFT specimens have an appreciation for a crystal’s aesthetic beauty, along with an intellectual curiosity about Artificial intelligence. If that sounds like you, welcome to the world of fine Gemstones NFT collecting!
How does it work?
We’re building this community where we’re hunting for Gem shards!
There are 300 unique Gemstones artworks that have been split in 6 shards each. That makes 1,800 shards available in total to hunt.
Once you’ve decided which precious Gemstone is your favorite you can start the hunt.
Collecting 3 shards of the same Gemstone will give you access to the private Blue Diamond club. This membership comes with a lot of privileges:
- 50% of all the royalties generated from the secondary market sales will fund the Blue Diamond Club wallet. Members of the club will decide what to do with the community wallet’s funds.
- Funds can be used for: Airdrops of other NFTs collection, Delivery of real Gemstone matching your NFT, Give to charities, Organize giveaways, Merch, Events, etc..
- Voting power. As a member of the Blue Diamond Club, you will have the ability to decide and vote on the future of the project.
- Automatic access to the presale of the Treasure chests project (more info below).
In order to get access to this club you’ll need to burn your 3 matching Gemstone shards. And receive an exclusive BlueDiamondClub Gemstone NFT pass. If you sell this pass, you forfeit your BDC privileges.
Why are we different?
This is not your typical PFP animal project, the community we’re growing here is mainly focus on three things:
- The beauty of AI generated art
- The gamification of collecting 3 shards of the same Gemstone
- Helping an NGO working to ensure that the health and well-being of children are protected
The community will also be encouraged to play the game, with financial incentives. Indeed, a live leaderboard of each “Blue Diamond Club” Gemstones passes collected so far will be displayed on our website. As well as the other Gemstones, yet to be collected.
The first 10 members to collect 3 shards of a selection of Gemstones and join the Blue Diamond Club, will be rewarded!
For example if you are the first hunter to gather 3 shards of the Black Opal Gemstone, you’ll get an NFT airdrop from another successful collection.
